Workshop "Exploring US Pop Culture" held in cooperation with the American Corner Zenica

On Monday, October 27, 2025, a workshop was held in the premises of the Zenica American Corner Exploring US Pop Culture, organized in cooperation with the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zenica and the American Corner.

The workshop was led by Prof. Jennifer Johnson from the University of Poitiers (Université de Poitiers, France), and was attended by second and third year students of the English Language and Literature study program.

During the interactive lecture and discussion, students had the opportunity to become acquainted with key elements of American popular culture – film, music, design, and media – and to develop intercultural competence and a critical attitude towards contemporary cultural phenomena through the exchange of opinions.

This activity is part of the Faculty of Philosophy's ongoing cooperation with international academic partners and the American Corner Zenica, and contributes to the improvement of teaching and the internationalization of the English Language and Literature study program.
