Workshop for citizen journalists in Zenica

Recently, citizen-journalists have been very popular in the world, and some media have already
they also have hashtags citizen-journalist, and awards were recently awarded in Montenegro
the most successful citizen-journalists. In BiH, this reporting model was adopted by IMEP,
The Project for Strengthening Professional Media in BiH (IMEP), which is behind the USAID mission in BiH.
"OPEN NETWORK" as a partner of the "Civil Society Promotion Center" (CPCD) in
implementation of this project invites all interested parties to a workshop for citizens-journalists in
Zenica, on Friday, November 23 at 7 p.m. in the hall of the City Museum in Muhamed Seid Street
Serdarevića bb.

The topics of this workshop will be: citizen-journalist model, creating and publishing content for
IMEP.ba, presenting grants for New Voices or New Voices that are foreseen in
amounts from 2,000 to 5,000 dollars, and we will talk about journalism, about the difference between
reporting and writing on social networks, about what could be a local or wider topic
community. Almri Čehajić Batko and Rubina Čengić will speak, as well as beneficiaries of IMEP grants
for New Voices from Zenica.

IMEP is a five-year USAID program that supports media independence and freedom
of expression in BiH by strengthening the sustainability of the media, raising the quality of media content,
by building the competencies of journalists, providing legal support to the media and journalists, as well as
by actively involving citizens in the media space, with strong promotion
of independent media voices in BiH. It is implemented by CPCD and OM.
