SUPPORT TO THE NATIONAL UNIVERSITY LIBRARY OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

Tomorrow, November 11, 2024 at 12:05, we join the initiative of the National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina in expressing support for resolving the legal, status and financial problems of the National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We invite all our employees, students to join the gathering tomorrow, Monday, November 11, 2024, at 12:05, organized by the Zenica City Library.

With this symbolic gesture, we want to draw attention to the importance of the National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina for all of us and for Bosnian and Herzegovinian society as a whole.

Currently, not a single book, not a single magazine, not a single serial publication, not a single scientific paper can be published in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Pupils and students cannot get new books, none of the professors at the faculties can advance because there is nowhere to publish a book or a scientific paper. We are running out of time and it will be difficult to correct and compensate for all this. Priceless collections of works are threatened with destruction because there will be no one to protect them.

We do not give our heritage, language, culture and tradition!
