STUČI 2025: Student Čimbur at the Zenica Čimburijada with primary and secondary school students

This year's Spring Dawn - Zenica Chimburijada is being held for the first time as an event that has been officially included in the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina. As part of the first Student Culture Festival STUFEK 2025, the Faculty of Philosophy together with its partners, the Zenica Citizens' Forum and the BiH Rugby Union, organized the activity STUCI 2025. This event included a series of educational, creative, research and sports workshops for elementary and high school students from Zenica. About 250 students of all ages from "Meša Selimović" Elementary School, "Mak Dizdar" Elementary School, "Miroslav Krleža" Elementary School, and the First and Second Gymnasium attended. The workshops were realized by students of the study programs Classroom Teaching, Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian Language and Literature, Cultural Studies and Physical Education and Sport under the expert supervision of subject teachers and associates, as well as professional athletes.
In addition to students from our faculty, students from the University of Ljubljana and the University of Zadar participated with their professors, as well as professors from the University of Maribor.
Through workshops, students had the opportunity to bring Stuci, an egg from the Faculty of Philosophy, to life and write him a poem, learn about origami, recycle eggshells and eggshells through creative expression, race with eggs, play rugby and learn about parkour. High school students had the opportunity to become more familiar with the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to participate together with our students in the process of researching the neighborhood phenomenon. Our students, together with students from the University of Zadar, also participated in the Regatta on the Bosna River.
The Faculty of Philosophy aims to continue working on improving the STUČI event, which will be held as part of the Zenica Čimburiada, in the future.
