PROMOTION OF PUBLICATION OF THE LANGUAGE INSTITUTE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF SARAJEVO HELD, COOPERATION AGREEMENT SIGNED

The Institute of Language of the University of Sarajevo, in cooperation with the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zenica, held a promotion of the Institute's scientific publications from 2024 on Wednesday, March 12, in the premises of the SP Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian Language and Literature. Our guests/promoters were Dr. Sc. Jasmin Hodžić, Director of the Institute of Language of Sarajevo, Dr. Sc. Zenaida Karavdić, Research Associate of the Institute, and Dr. Sc. Tarik Ćušić, Research Associate of the Institute.

Five titles were presented:
1. The Four Gospels: A Study and Critical Edition of the Text, Erma Ramić-Kunić
2. Lexicon of foreign origin in Bosniak epic poetry, Tarik Cusic
3. Bosnian language and education 1823–2023., Jasmin Hodzic
4. Sarajevo speech, Aida Kršo, Enisa Bajraktarević and Zenaida Karavdić
5. Grammar of the Bosnian language: syntax, book 1, Ismail Palic

The Institute donated a certain number of copies of all the presented titles to the Faculty of Philosophy. This is literature that can be used in teaching, for the analysis of various philological phenomena in the field of the Bosnian language, but also in various contrastive analyses.

On this occasion, a Cooperation Agreement between the two institutions was signed. The agreement was signed by the Director of the Institute, Dr. Sc. Jasmin Hodžić, and the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alica Arnaut. The modalities of including our students in the process of entering texts into the Bosnian-Herzegovinian National Corpus were also discussed.
