CROSS-CULTURAL INTERACTION - WORKSHOPS

From 12 to 16 May 2025, a series of workshops entitled “Cross-cultural Interaction” was held at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zenica. The workshops were led by Professor Jennifer Johnson from the University of Poitiers, who was in Zenica as a visiting professor within the Erasmus program, for 22 students of the University of Zenica. Through interactive and interesting activities, the students had the opportunity to explore the topic of defining and interpreting their own identity, consider how personal and group identity are integrated into the concept of modern society, learn how to overcome common stereotypical ideas about others and achieve better communication with members of other communities. Finally, they devised ways to promote intercultural exchange through Erasmus opportunities available through inter-university cooperation between the University of Zenica and the University of Poitiers. All workshop participants received certificates. The participants expressed very positive reactions to this five-day education, and details from the certificate award ceremony can be seen in the photos.
