Anglophone Landmark Lab

Organized by the English Language and Literature Study Program, on May 22, 2025, a workshop on the development of methodological and didactic materials entitled “Anglophone Landmark Lab” was held at the Faculty of Philosophy, in which students of all study years participated. During the workshop, students worked together on assembling models of landmarks such as Big Ben, Tower Bridge, London City Line, New York City Line and Empire State Building.

These models will serve as didactic exhibits in classrooms, with the aim of enriching the teaching process and visualizing the cultural heritage included in the courses of this study program. The goal of the workshop was also to encourage interactive learning, develop language skills, and provide students as future foreign language teachers with examples of a creative approach in teaching.

We would like to thank all students for their active participation, especially our fourth-year students, who have made a significant contribution to this and other projects through their dedication. Their engagement is becoming a role model for younger students, who are increasingly following their example.
