Prof. Ph.D. Edina Solak, winner of a special award at an international scientific conference in the Republic of Turkey

In the period from October 29 to 31, 2023, on "Karatekin" University in Cankiri in the Republic Turkey was held Second International Turkological Scientific Conference (II. International Türkiyat Congresses) in which 149 scientists from 13 countries presented their scientific and professional works in the fields of linguistics, literature, history and cultural studies. We are proud to announce that he is at the said conference the plenary presentation was held by prof. Ph.D. Edina Solak, head of the Turkish Language and Literature study program at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zenica.

After the plenary presentation, Professor Solak presented in co-authorship with Assoc. Ph.D. Mirzo Bašić and a scientific paper under the title Bursalı Rahmî'nin Wonderful'ında Görülen Kavramsal Metonimiler Üzerine Bir Değerlendirme (Analysis of conceptual metonymies in Divan Bursali Rahmi).

At the closing ceremony of the conference Rector of "Karatekin" University in Cankiri prof. Ph.D. Harun Ciftchi uhe presented professor Solak with a special award for an outstanding contribution to the organization of an international scientific conference.
