Working visit of SPNJJK to the Faculty of Philosophy of UNSA as part of the ReDeKo project

For the purpose of implementing activities within the framework of the international scientific and research project ReDeKo - Redekonstellationen mit Deutsch in Bosnien-Herzegovina, which is being implemented in cooperation with the Institute for the German Language (IDS) Mannheim and German Studies in Sarajevo, Mostar, Tuzla and Zenica, a working visit was made to the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Sarajevo on May 21, 2025.

The visit was realized outside. prof. Ph.D. Almina Lisičić-Hedžić, and second cycle students and assistants Salina Žilić and Ibrahim Drobo. During the meeting, presentations and discussions were held, and all further steps for the implementation of this long-term project were agreed upon.

The project consists of a joint research part and several sub-projects. Representatives of the Department of German Language and Literature presented their sub-project entitled: "Deutsch promoten, Bedeutungen erzeugna / Promote German, create meanings", which will explore and show how the German language is promoted in Bosnia and Herzegovina and how it is staged and thus conceptualized through various forms of promotion in the media? What meanings, values and narratives are built through public communication and advertising? What image of the German language and German-speaking countries is created by content related to language, education and culture - whether it is advertisements, posts on social networks or information about various events?
