VISIT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORTS STUDENTS TO ZENICA CITY SCOUTS ASSOCIATION

As part of the Teamwork elective, students of the fourth year of the Physical Education and Sport study program of the Faculty of Philosophy in Zenica paid a professional visit to the Zenica City Scouts Association, accompanied by the dean of the faculty, prof. Ph.D. Alice Arnaut, subject teacher prof. Ph.D. Šemso Ormanović and teaching assistant, M.Sc. Darjan Mileusnić.

The aim of the visit was to familiarize students with the functioning of organizations that deal with education, leadership development, teamwork, and the organization of programs and schools in nature. The students were addressed by Edin Šarić, president of SIGZ, Zekerijah Avdić, president of the Scout Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Lejla Sarajlić Fejzić, leader of the scout troop "Lisac".

During the visit, representatives of the Scout Association presented the history, structure and basic activities of their organization, with a special emphasis on educational programs for youth, developing team spirit and responsibility, and the importance of spending time and learning in nature. Students had the opportunity to ask questions, participate in discussions and exchange experiences, and to see through practical examples how the principles of teamwork function in informal educational settings.
