THE FACULTY OF PHILOSOPHY IN ZENICA OFFICIALIZED COOPERATION WITH THE ZENICA CITIZENS' FORUM

The Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, Prof. Dr. Alica Arnaut, and the President of the Zenica Citizens' Forum, Mirsad Mujkić, signed a Cooperation Agreement today at the premises of our faculty, formalizing the already existing long-standing cooperation.

Namely, the Faculty of Philosophy in Zenica and the Zenica Citizens' Forum have been collaborating for several years on a series of activities implemented within the Etnolab project, during which study visits and research were organized for students of the Faculty of Philosophy in Zenica, the University of Zadar and the University of Ljubljana. Also, the Faculty of Philosophy in Zenica provided expert assistance and support in the preparation of the Study on the nomination of "Spring Urank - Zenička Čimburijada" to the Preliminary Open List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, i.e. to the Preliminary List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The aforementioned activity was successfully implemented and resulted in the inclusion of "Spring Urank - Zenička Čimburijada" on the aforementioned lists in early December 2024.

During today's signing of the Cooperation Agreement, future activities and models of cooperation were agreed upon, especially through the inclusion of students of the Faculty of Philosophy in the implementation of the continuation of the Etnolab project, but also through the organization of joint workshops, seminars and round tables at the upcoming Student Festival of Culture, which will take place in the organization of the Faculty of Philosophy in Zenica during 2025.
