A screening of the film "Behind the Blue Border" was held as part of the Student Culture Festival

At the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zenica, it is part of the Student Festival of Culture (STUFEK) in Tuesday, April 29th Sara Neumann's debut feature film was screened "Beyond the blue border" organized by the Goethe-Institut Bosnia and Herzegovina and the German Language and Literature Study Program FFUNZE.

The film, based on Dorit Linke's novel of the same name, premiered in 2024 at the 45th Max Ophüls Preis Film Festival, where it won as many as three international awards: the Audience Award for Best Feature Film, the Award for Best Young Actor and the Ecumenical Jury Award.

Sarah Neumann, herself a child of the era after the reunification of Germany, manages to convey through an emotional and tense story the atmosphere and daily challenges faced by two 15-year-old boys and a 15-year-old girl in the former German Democratic Republic.

The screening was attended by students and teaching staff of the German Language and Literature Study Program, as well as high school graduates from Zenica.
