Dear teachers, colleagues, service staff, students,

In accordance with the decisions of the competent authorities on the relaxation of restrictive protection measures against the pandemic caused by the corona virus, the guidelines of the Senate of the University of Zenica, as well as the earlier recommendations of the Faculty's management, we bring guidelines for conducting examination activities in the premises of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zenica.

Exam deadlines are carried out with the mandatory application of appropriate preventive epidemiological measures in order to maximize the health protection of all participants in the higher education process, and compliance with the measures and orders of the competent authorities (prohibition of the gathering of a large number of people in one place, the application of a social distance measure of at least 2m, use of protective equipment).

In terms of conducting exams in the facility (classrooms) of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zenica, detailed instructions are necessary regarding the implementation of health protection measures for all participants during the exam and stay in the facilities of the Faculty.

In terms of compliance and implementation of protection measures, all participants in the processes have a very important role. It is necessary to know that for the entire duration of the pandemic, hygienic measures, disinfection of rooms and surfaces are carried out in the Faculty's facilities, continuously and at the highest level by the technical service. This includes the systemic disinfection of the premises by the system bodies (KCZ), which is still ongoing.

In order to continue the disciplined implementation of protection measures in the further processes of work and activity, and in terms of the implementation of examination deadlines, the following must be observed:

  • the physical implementation of the examination process, with maximum observance of protective measures, should be carried out with the minimum possible stay in the Faculty's facilities,
  • teaching staff and students are expected to comply with the examination dates and defined guidelines for conduct during the examination and stay in the Faculty's facilities,
  • on the day and at the time of the scheduled exam, students come to the front of the Faculty, no later than 10 minutes before the start of the exam, and wait in the courtyard of the Faculty for the arrival of the subject teacher/associate, observing physical distancing measures. The time until the start of the exam is needed to carry out all the preparations, including the inspection of the possession of personal protective equipment and disinfection at the entrance of the Faculty, entering the classroom and placing students,
  • students must strictly take care of arriving on time, because in case of delay, students will not be able to enter the Faculty's facilities on their own,
  • students enter the Faculty's facilities exclusively accompanied by a teacher/associate, where each teacher/associate accepts an adequate group of students for a specific exam period,
  • teachers, associates and students wear personal protective equipment (masks are mandatory, and gloves are preferable), that is, NONE OF THE PARTICIPANTS IN THE PROCESS CAN ENTER THE FACILITIES OF THE FACULTY WITHOUT PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT. Upon entering the faculty, the porter checks the fulfillment of personal protection measures by teachers, associates and students,
  • at the entrance to the Faculty, in a clearly marked place, with the control of the staff, there is a MANDATORY disinfection of shoes and then hands, by ALL USERS INDIVIDUALLY,
  • the teacher/collaborator together with the students goes to the classroom where the exam is held,
  • when moving to the classroom, students follow the teacher/associate and move in an organized sequence, respecting the mutual distance of at least 2 m.
  • holding the exam at an adequate time, it is done in a classroom that has been disinfected and ventilated before the exam,
  • in the classroom, according to the planned schedule, the professor/associate first enters, who arranges the students, respecting the prescribed distance between each student,
  • the arrangement of students for seating by teachers/collaborators is done in alternating positions, so that in front of/behind them and next to them (left/right) no other student may sit at a distance of less than 2 m, which means that the total number of students in the same moment in the room approx. 1/3 of its actual capacity,
  • in the exam, students use their equipment, and the decision on the necessity of downloading written material is made by subject teachers/collaborators,
  • during the examination, it is constantly ventilated,
  • everything that teachers, associates and students need to do in terms of consultation, exchange of information and clarifications, before or after the exam, should be done in electronic or telephone communication, without physical contact in offices and the like,
  • after the end of the exam, students, respecting the distance measures, leave the classroom (students from the back rows /or the first, depending on the orientation of the classroom/ leave the classroom first, and the students from the first rows /or the back, depending on the orientation of the classroom/) are the last to leave, and leave facilities of the Faculty without staying in the corridors,
  • after the end of the exam, the specific classroom and work surfaces are disinfected and ventilated by the technical staff and the next exam can be held in the same room only in 1 hour,
  • the publication of exam results is public and is done electronically through available resources, including appropriate platforms, the Faculty's website, etc., in order to avoid the physical presence and gathering of students in front of the Faculty's bulletin boards,
  • teachers, associates and students are obliged to monitor the condition of all participants in the process in the sense that if there is even the slightest suspicion that one of the participants has any symptoms that may indicate a possible infection, or they have information that one of the participants was in contact with infected persons, or one of the participants has a possible elevated temperature and the like, the information is delivered to the relevant teacher/associate and the staff of the Faculty, and entry to such participants will not be possible. Also, according to the current assessment of the epidemiological situation, the body temperature of the participants can be checked by the staff at the very entrance to the Faculty's facilities.
  • if students have appropriate needs of an administrative and technical nature with the services of the Faculty, they can do so only with a prior electronic/telephone announcement and following the instructions of the service staff on further action,
  • the use of the canteen by students inside the Faculty building is STRICTLY PROHIBITED
  • according to the Conclusion of the College of the Rector's Office of UNZE, signatures for students will be given on the days of examinations in individual subjects in the period 15.06.-26.06.2020. year (first exam term). Subject teachers are required to take the indexes on the day of the exam (for example, students can leave the indexes on a free bench when entering and pick them up when leaving) and provide signatures in accordance with the records of students' completed obligations. Teachers can do this in the student service of the faculty before the start of the exam, or they can download the indexes and give signatures during the term. After the end of the first exam period and receiving all signatures, students will hand over the indexes to the student service for semester certification.
  • according to the same above-mentioned Conclusion of the College of the Rectorate of UNZE, the exams are held according to the previously determined exam schedule (available on the website of the faculty unze.ba). In the event that a larger number of students apply for the exam, it is necessary to conduct the exam in such a way that the students are introduced to the designated classroom in smaller groups. For example, if the exam is scheduled at 9:00 a.m. and the classroom is available until 12:00 p.m., it is possible for 3 groups of students to do the exam one after the other, each group for 1 hour, while the subject teachers will formulate the exam questions and tasks in a way that 1 group of students can be examined in 1 hour.

THE ABOVE PRESCRIBED MEASURES ARE ADOPTED WITH THE BEST INTENTIONS, WITH THE OBJECTIVE:

  • PRESERVATION OF THE PERSONAL AND COMMUNITY HEALTH OF ALL PARTICIPANTS IN THE PROCESSES OF HIGHER EDUCATION,
  • IMPLEMENTATION OF PROCESSES ENSURING THEIR CONTINUITY, QUALITY AND ACHIEVING ADEQUATE RESULTS

TEACHERS AND ASSOCIATES HAVE THE OBLIGATION TO COMPLY WITH THE MEASURES (constantly employees, as well as external collaborators), OFFICE STAFF, AND STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF PHILOSOPHY, i.e. all users of the spatial and technical resources of the Faculty of PHILOSOPHY of the University of Zenica.

Teachers, associates and students have personal responsibility for compliance with prescribed measures, as well as for the consequences of possible non-adherence to them and putting other participants in the process at risk for their health. Anyone who does not comply with the prescribed measures will be removed from the Faculty building.

With respect,

Dean and Vice-Dean for Teaching and Student Affairs
Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zenica
