Pioneering promotion of the Handbook for German language teachers in primary schools in Zenica

On February 20, 2025, the promotion of the first was held in the City Library of Zenica Handbook for teachers of the German language intended for elementary schools, especially for gifted students and students who attend classes according to an adapted curriculum. Behind this pioneering project are students of German Studies at the University of Zenica: Farah Bajrić, Amina Pivic and Alan Softic, with the mentorship of an assistant Lamije Horić-Šabić and professors Belma Polic.
What makes this project particularly valuable is the fact that the authors financed the entire process of creating the manual themselves, while all proceeds from sales will go to humanitarian purposes.
Professor Polić emphasized the importance of this project: "This is once again proof that the world rests on young people. It was an honor to work, collaborate and learn from these young, creative, free-thinking people."
Students shared their enthusiasm and pride for the results of their joint work. They believe that such projects are the best way to show their creativity, critical thinking and creative freedom.
"Knowledge is not an end in itself, but must also have a function outside the classroom," the students concluded.
This promotion and the work on the handbook represent a bright example of how young academic citizens can make a valuable contribution to the educational process and the wider society with their efforts and innovation.
