FACULTY OF PHILOSOPHY SIGNED A COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH THE GOETHE INSTITUTE IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, Prof. Dr. Alica Arnaut, and Head of the Language Department and Deputy Director of the Goethe-Institut, Dr. Eva Hamann, signed a Cooperation Agreement today at the premises of the Faculty of Philosophy, formalizing the already long-standing cooperation. Namely, the Faculty of Philosophy and the Goethe-Institut have achieved very successful cooperation in the last few years alone through a series of activities such as the Studierende werden Lehrende (Students Become Teachers) project, Vernetzung von Germanistiken in Bosnien-Herzegowina (Networking German Studies in Bosnia and Herzegovina), donations of professional literature, and other activities.
With today's signing of the Agreement, students of the German Language and Literature study program will have the opportunity to participate in the DLL (Deutsch Lehren Lernen – Learning to Teach German) educational program, by completing Module 6 of the program, entitled Curriculare Vorgaben und Unterrichtsplanung (Curricular Requirements and Lesson Planning), over a period of 10 weeks. This Module deals with lesson planning as one of the main tasks of teachers, which is conditioned by various factors, such as modern didactic and methodological principles, the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), prescribed standards and curricula to be followed.
