Dijana Sadikovska, student of Physical Education and Sports, winner of the Award for the best sports worker in ZDK in 2024

Dijana Sadikovska, a student of Physical Education and Sports at this year's Athlete Selection of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, was declared the best sports worker in ZDK in 2024.

Dijana was born on January 3, 1986 in Zenica. She began her successful sports career in judo as a young member in 1999. Through all age categories (pioneer, cadet, junior, senior), Dijana has achieved notable results, both in national and international tournaments. She is the winner and holder of the title of Bosnian and Herzegovina's Balkan Champion for 7th place at the European Championship for many years. She has been a permanent member of the Bosnian judo national team for many years. In 2024, she won the European Championship for Veterans and bronze at the World Championship in the USA. She has been proclaimed the most successful athlete of the Zenica-Doboj Canton and Municipality 3 times. She holds the title of master 3rd dan black belt. She is a youth coach at the Judo Club Čelik Zenica, a fitness instructor, and a participant in half marathons and trails. For 15 years, she has been employed in the service of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a prison police officer.
