FOR THE ENROLLMENT OF STUDENTS IN THE FIRST YEAR AND (FIRST) CYCLE OF STUDIES AT
UNIVERSITY IN ZENIKA
IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2015/2016
(FIRST REGISTRATION DEADLINE)

Competition/Competition for the enrollment of students in the first year of the 1st (first) cycle of studies at the University of Zenica in the academic year 2015/2016 lasts from June 25 to July 3, 2015.

Entrance exams at the faculties of the University of Zenica will be held from July 6 to July 8, 2015about which faculties will inform candidates on their notice boards with detailed information on the content and method of taking the entrance exam.

Enrollment of students who will be admitted to the faculties of the University of Zenica in the first enrollment period will take place from
September 1 until September 11, 2015.years.

In the first year of study in the academic year 2015/2016, candidates are enrolled in accordance with the Student Enrollment Plan for the first year of the I (first) cycle of studies at the University of Zenica.

Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, foreign citizens and stateless persons who have completed a four-year high school in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as candidates who completed high school outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and for whom, after the nostrification procedure, have the right to participate in the Contest/Competition /equivalence determined to have completed adequate education for continuing education.

Exceptionally, candidates who completed high school outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina have the right to participate in the Competition even before the certification/equivalence of the certificate of completed secondary education abroad, but they can enroll in the first year after the certification/equivalence of completed education abroad, and no later than the beginning of the 2015/2016 academic year.

The admission and enrollment of students in the first year of studies is carried out by special commissions appointed by the deans of the University of Zenica.

The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of the Decision on criteria and standards for determining the order of admission of candidates for the first year of the first cycle of studies at the University of Zenica, which is an integral part of this Contest/Competition, as well as individual faculty evaluation criteria grade in subjects relevant to the respective study and evaluation of the results of the entrance exams at the faculties where the entrance exam is scheduled.

The ranking list and the list of accepted candidates will be published by the faculties on the notice board and the faculty's website, after they have been verified by the competent authority, for faculties where the entrance exam is scheduled to be held no later than five days after the last day of the entrance exam, and for other faculties no later than five days from the closing date of the Contest/Competition.

Faculties will provide complete information on the place and time of submission of documents for the Competition/Competition on their bulletin boards and website.

Candidates submit the following documents with their application to the Contest/Competition for enrollment in the first year of the I (first) cycle of studies:

  • an application for enrollment in which the study program/department to which he is applying is correctly indicated,
  • original certificates of completed high school grades completed in BiH for a four-year period, i.e. appropriate documents on the implementation of the nostrification/equivalence procedure for candidates who completed high school outside of BiH,
  • original high school diploma,
  • birth certificate,
  • Certificate of Citizenship,
  • other documents relevant for determining the number of points according to the criteria. 2

Candidates who are beneficiaries of the rights based on the Law on Supplementary Rights of Veterans and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, number: 1/14) attach the following documents in addition to the previously mentioned documents:

  • certified household list,
  • income certificates of household members,
  • certified copy of identity card,
  • confirmation of the status of a member of the defense population.

Winner of a war award or decoration, war invalid, demobilized defender, child of a martyr, killed, deceased, missing defender, child of a war award or decoration winner, child of a war invalid and child of a demobilized defender in the status of a full-time student, has the right to priority under equal conditions at admission to the faculties of the University of Zenica, and in accordance with Article 20 of the Law on Supplementary Rights of Veterans and Their Family Members ("Official Gazette of the Zenica-Doboj Canton", No. 1/14 and the Decree on Priority in the Education of Veterans and Their Family Members ("Official Gazette newspaper of the Zenica-Doboj Canton», number 4/14).

Enrollment of candidates from the category of children: martyrs, martyrs, deceased, missing defenders; deceased, deceased, missing winner of a war award or decoration; deceased war invalids and deceased demobilized defenders, who apply for regular studies (financed by the Founder) and pass the entrance exam, but do not enter the quota stipulated in the Enrollment Plan, as well as candidates who do not achieve the required number of points according to the general and special criteria at the faculties of for which the entrance exam is not foreseen, will be resolved by a special conclusion of the Cantonal Government on giving consent to the increase of a certain number of students for enrollment.

Members of the Roma nationality have the right to unconditional enrollment in the status of regular students financed by the Founder, beyond the quota stipulated in the Enrollment Plan.

Persons with disabilities through 70% have the right to unconditional enrollment in the status of regular students financed by the Founder, beyond the quota stipulated in the Enrollment Plan.

Applications submitted after the established deadline, as well as incomplete applications, will not be considered.

For all faculties that do not receive the planned number of candidates in this enrollment period, a Competition (second enrollment period) will be announced at the beginning of September 2015.

FOR THE ENROLLMENT OF STUDENTS IN THE FIRST YEAR OF THE II (SECOND) CYCLE OF STUDIES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ZENICA IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2015/2016. YEARS
(Master's study) 

Contest/Competition for the enrollment of students in the first year of the II (second) cycle of studies at the University of Zenica (Master's degree) in the academic year 2015/2016. year lasts from September 1 to September 30, 2015.

Enrollment of students who will be admitted to the faculties of the University of Zenica will take place from  October 5 to October 9, 2015.

In the first year in the academic year 2015/2016. candidates are enrolled in accordance with the Student Enrollment Plan in the first year of the II (second) cycle of studies at the University of Zenica.

The following have the right to participate in the Contest/Competition:

- and candidates who obtained a diploma of the first cycle of studies (undergraduate studies) outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and for whom, after the nostrification/equivalence procedure, it was determined that they have completed adequate education to continue their education.

Exceptionally, candidates who completed their first cycle of studies (undergraduate studies) outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina have the right to participate in the Competition even before the completion of the certification/equivalence of the diploma of the completed first cycle of studies (undergraduate studies) abroad, but they can enroll in the first year after certifications/equivalences of completed education abroad, and no later than the beginning of the 2015/2016 academic year.

The admission and enrollment of students in the first year of studies is carried out by special commissions appointed by the deans of the University of Zenica.

The founder will bear the costs of regular studies in the academic year 2015/2016. year only for students who achieved an average grade of 8 (eight) and above in the first cycle of studies in accordance with the Conclusion of the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton, number: 02-38-12703/15 dated 04.06.2015. years.

In case of application by a large number of candidates, preference is given to candidates with a higher average grade achieved during the first cycle of studies.

The ranking list and the list of accepted candidates will be published by the faculties on the notice board and on the faculty's website after they have been verified by the competent authority no later than five days after the closing of the Competition/Competition.

  • a certified copy of the diploma or a certificate of graduation and completion of the first cycle of studies (undergraduate studies) which is valued at 240 or 180 ECTS points,
  • birth certificate,
  • Certificate of Citizenship,
  • certificate of success achieved during the first cycle of studies (undergraduate studies) with an overview of all subjects and grades (diploma supplement),
  • declaration of acceptance of the obligation to pay the costs of the second cycle of study (master's study) only for: full-time self-financing, part-time students and students of foreign nationals.

TO THE FACULTY OF LAW OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ZENICA IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2015/2016. YEARS
(PHD studies)

Contest/Competition for the enrollment of students in the first year of the III (third) cycle of studies at the University of Zenica (Doctoral studies) in the academic year 2015/2016. year lasts from September 1 to September 30, 2015.

Enrollment of students who will be admitted to the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica will take place in winter semester of the 2015/2016 academic year.

In the first year in the academic year 2015/2016. candidates are enrolled in accordance with the Student Enrollment Plan in the first year of the III (third) cycle of studies at the Faculty of Law, University of Zenica.

The following have the right to participate in the Contest/Competition:
- citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, foreign citizens and stateless persons who have obtained the title of Master of Science with 360 ECTS credits in the legal fields as follows:

Civil law
Criminal law
History of the state and law
National and international public law

- and candidates who completed their studies outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and for whom it was determined after the nostrification/equivalence procedure that they have completed an adequate education (Master of Science) with 360 ECTS credits for continuing education.

The admission and enrollment of students in the first year of study is carried out by a special commission appointed by the Scientific and Teaching Council of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica.

Enrollment conditions:
Candidates with completed postgraduate studies or the equivalent (academic title of Master of Science) in the field of legal sciences have the right to enroll in doctoral studies. Enrollment is also granted to candidates who have obtained a master's degree (academic title of master of science) in other related sciences from the humanities and social sciences, in the manner and under the conditions established by the NNV of the faculty.

A candidate for admission must be able to use scientific and professional literature in one of the world's languages, which he proves before admission by a certificate that he attended a foreign language course or listened to a foreign language during the I (first) and/or II (second) study cycle of postgraduate study study.

Candidates for admission, who obtained the title of Master of Law or related sciences, in accordance with the previously defined conditions of the NNV, before applying the principles of the Bologna three-cycle study system in the fields that are relevant to the field from which the doctoral study is organized, can be recognized as appropriate number of ECTS credits in accordance with the study program. Candidates can be awarded 60 (sixty) ECTS credits and the right to enroll in the second year of doctoral studies.

Preference for enrollment would be given to candidates already involved in certain segments of scientific work with a demonstrated interest in scientific research and with published professional and scientific works.

Candidates who have completed their previous level of education abroad acquire the right to participate in the competition with a previously completed procedure for the certification of the acquired diploma, i.e. the procedure for the recognition of the education acquired abroad.

Foreign citizens apply for the competition under the conditions stipulated in the Statute of the University of Zenica, the Rules for organizing undergraduate, master's and doctoral studies at the University of Zenica and other regulations valid in the field of higher education.

Exceptionally, candidates who completed their studies outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina have the right to participate in the Competition even before the certification/equivalence of the diploma of completed studies abroad, but they can enroll in the first year after the certification/equivalence of completed education abroad, and at the latest in winter semester of the academic year 2015/2016. years.

In case of application of a large number of candidates, priority is given to candidates with a higher average grade achieved during their studies so far.

The final approval of the Candidate Selection Ranking List, and consideration of appeals on that basis for each major, is carried out by the Scientific and Teaching Council of the Faculty.

The final ranking list and the list of accepted candidates will be published by the faculty on the notice board and the faculty's website after they have been verified by the competent authority after the closing of the Competition/Competition.

  • statement of acceptance of the obligation to pay the costs of the third cycle of study (doctoral study).

COMPETITION/ NATJETEA
for the reception of students of BiH citizens and foreign citizens for accommodation and meals in the Student Center of the University of Zenica in the academic year 2015/2016. year

 I

Student center of the University of Zenica in the academic year 2015/2016. admits 220 students for accommodation and meals, citizens of BiH and foreign citizens, in the status of regular students of the University of Zenica, of which freshmen-students of the first year up to 35%, and according to the established criteria.

II
Students whose place of residence is at least 20 km away from Zenica have the right to accommodation and meals.

III
Participants of the Competition/Competition from points I and II are obliged to submit:

  1. Application for admission to the Student Center (the application form can be obtained from the Student Center),
  2. Certificate from a higher education institution that he is a regular student with a certificate of passed exams from previous academic years or a certified copy of the index with grades - newly enrolled students submit a certified copy of the certificate from the 4th grade,
  3. Certificate of joint household (household list) and income per household member (material census) based on:

- salary, pension and other entitlements (average of the last three months),
- confirmation from the employment office about the unemployment of parents or guardians,

  1. Certificate of permanent residence and a copy of the identity card (for foreign citizens, a copy of the passport),
  2. General payment slip in the amount of 10.00 KM for data processing costs (payment to JRT Zenica-Doboj Canton number 1340100000001672 opened at Investiciono-kommercialna banka dd Zenica, municipality 103, budget organization 2204010, with reference to number: 4810010048 and indicating the type of income 722631 .
  3. Certified guarantee on the assumption of obligations arising from the use of the Student Center (the guarantee form can be obtained from the Student Center).

Contest/Competition participants who, on the basis of a certain status, belonging to a certain population or on other grounds, in accordance with established criteria, earn additional points shall prove the same by submitting:

  1. Certificates of awards won in educational and sports competitions (at cantonal, federal, state and international competitions),
  2. Certificates on the degree of disability (personal, parent and guardian),
  3. Certificates of deceased, missing and deceased immediate family members,
  4. Certificates of internment status, personal or of parents or guardians (issued by the International Red Cross),
  5. Certificates of parents' participation in OS RBiH (time spent),
  6. Certificates from the competent institution on refugee (displaced) status.

Students who are foreign nationals participating in the Contest are required to submit the documents from point III under the following numbers: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6.
The above-mentioned documents must be issued by competent institutions or authorities and must not be older than 6 months.
Incomplete and untimely submitted documentation will not be considered.

The ranking of the candidates will be done by the admission committee based on the established criteria and the total number of points obtained from the submitted data and documents required by this Competition/Competition.
The ranking list of students will be published on the notice board of the Student Center of the University of Zenica.
When concluding a contract on the use of accommodation and food, students are required to submit a medical certificate of suitability for collective housing and are required to take a free photo at the Center's administration.

Newly enrolled students - freshmen are required to submit a certificate of enrollment to the faculty when making a loan to the Student Center.
Students of older years of study who have been temporarily admitted to the Student Center for accommodation and food in previous academic years are required to apply and submit a certificate of enrollment at the faculty in the academic year 2015/2016. no later than 01.11.2015. in order to regulate accommodation, because otherwise they lose the right to accommodation.

VI
The Contest/Competition remains open for 30 days from the date of publication in the public gazette, and in the case insufficient number of accepted candidates, a subsequent Competition will be announced at the beginning of September 2015.
