This project integrates two goals of the media literacy program of the Department of General Cultural Studies: through the research process, it will generate new data, and along the way, using the obtained data, educate both teaching staff and students about media literacy.

Media literacy represents the ability of individuals to access, analyze and critically evaluate media content. This includes all media, from television, film, radio and recorded music, the press, the Internet and all other digital communication technologies. At the individual level, media literacy skills include critical thinking, problem solving, personal autonomy and communication skills.

These skills are essential for the development of active, participatory citizenship at the social level.
