Applied ecolinguistic research on environmental education and sustainable development of future foreign language teachers in FBiH

As a result of activities initiated during the Erasmus exchange at the University of Poitiers, a project was launched that brings together third-year students of the English Language and Literature study program. The project focuses on applied linguistics with the aim of improving students' language skills and encouraging innovative approaches in foreign language teaching through the integration of topics such as ecolinguistics, environmental education, and sustainable development.

We are especially pleased that the project resulted in the practical application of newly acquired knowledge by our students. In this regard, some of the project participants independently developed curricula and video content that they submitted to the competition of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Mostar, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Science. In addition to developing professional and practical competencies, participation in this project enables the strengthening of cooperation between students and teachers of our study program with partner universities in the FBiH, and contributes to the promotion of the University, the Faculty and the study program itself.
