Successfully realized British Council OTC@FFUNZE project

Based on the Memorandum of Understanding signed with the British Council in Sarajevo, the English Language and Literature Study Program of the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zenica has successfully implemented the project of including teachers and students in an international digital platform. British Council Online Teacher Community (OTC).

Within the framework of this project, teachers and students of the third and fourth years of SPEJK, who were active members of the regional and international online community of English language teachers, together with students from Sarajevo and Mostar, participated in online education. The OTC platform is focused on professional development through modern digital models of learning, collaboration and mentoring, and participants had the opportunity to attend structured modules, participate in discussion forums and follow online lectures by British Council experts. The coordinator and participant of the project was prof. dr. Edina Rizvić-Eminović, and among the students, Adna Cero and Berina Kovač particularly stood out with their engagement and results, and were awarded certificates of successfully completed education in two modules: Understanding Differentiation and Understanding Learner Motivation.

The implementation of the project contributed to the improvement of pedagogical competences, the development of digital skills and the application of innovative methods of teaching English, as well as to the improvement of the quality of teaching and the professional development of the teaching staff of SPEJK.
