EVENING OF TURKISH POETRY, COMMON IFTAR AND "BAYRAM DEDE"

As part of the Student Culture Festival STUFEK 2025, and on the occasion of celebrating World Poetry Day and the twentieth anniversary of the establishment of the study program Turkish Language and Literature of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zenica, an event called the Evening of Turkish Poetry was organized.
The aforementioned event was organized in the premises of the Turkish Language and Literature study program on Friday, March 21, 2025. At the event, students of the third and fourth year of the first cycle of the study program Turkish language and literature recited poetry and analyzed the poetic works of famous Turkish poets Orhan Veli Kanik, Sezai Karakoc, Jahje Kemal Bejatli, Atila Ilhan and Džahit Sitki Tarandži.
At the end of the program, a joint iftar was organized with pleasant socializing and a kind of fun challenge called "Bayram Dede". In this fun challenge, the students exchanged modest and symbolic gifts with each other, pointing out the fact that the true benefits of gift-giving do not lie in the material value of the gift, but rather in the attention, kindness and effort put in to bring smiles and create unforgettable moments of joy.
The chosen month of Ramadan is a real opportunity to draw attention to the fact that such values connect us and make this world a better and more beautiful place. Until another meeting, we congratulate the students on their successful presentations and wonderful recitations. İYİ Kİ VARIZ!
