Workshop: Marking/celebrating Women's Day

The Faculty of Philosophy, as part of the UNIGEM project, is organizing a workshop on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Marking/celebrating Women's Day. We organize the workshop on the occasion of March 8 and want to show what March 8 meant to women who fought for the right to vote and for the visibility of women in public space, and what this holiday, of women's rights and the revolutionary struggle of Clara Zetkin, has turned into today. One of the important aspects that we want to consider is related to stereotypical messages that are sent to women on this day, and we also want to problematize the way in which this day is celebrated/marked in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
