Promised and fulfilled: Students of the Faculty of Philosophy helped a single mother with five children

After a successful promotion Handbook for gifted students and students attending classes according to an adapted curriculum in the crowded City Library, where students, professors and all those who support education and inclusion gathered, the continuation of a beautiful story is coming. Authors of the manual, students of the Study Program German Language and Literature - Farah Bajrić, Amina Pivić, Alan Softić, assistant Lamija Horić-Šabić and prof. Ph.D. Belma Polić, together with volunteers and students Sara Luković and Ajla Šahinović, as part of their humanitarian action, invested all the money collected from the sale of manuals (a total of 1355 KM) to help a family that is faced with many life challenges every day.
All those who participated in this action not only helped financially, but also collected the necessary things - clothes, toys and school supplies - for this family, which the students visited today, February 27, 2025, with a visit and a donation. This gesture of support and solidarity represents not only the fulfillment of a promise, but also proof that togetherness, love for people and the desire for change make the world more beautiful.
Although everyone helped, this is the moment when we want to emphasize that due to moral reasons, out of respect for the privacy of this family, we will not publish their data. The most important thing is the fact that those who are able to help, extended a hand to those who need it the most.
We would like to thank the Management of the Faculty of Philosophy for their full support, the City Library, and all the wonderful people like Emina Sinanović, Ajna Odobašić, Benjamin Delić, Lejla Pašanbegović, Amra Porča, Anida Jahić, and all other colleagues and people of good will who selflessly helped in the promotion of the Handbook and this campaign.
Finally, we want to send the message that solidarity is the most beautiful gift we can share with others. Every little help can make a big difference in someone else's life. This action is just the beginning, and we will continue to be there for everyone who needs our help, because we believe that together we can build a better tomorrow.
Let us never forget that kindness and consideration for others is the most valuable thing we can give, because small steps often bring about big changes. When small hands join hands, anything is possible…
