NEW ACTIVITY OF THE THEATRE CLUB OF THE FACULTY OF PHILOSOPHY

After numerous activities in the past month, several students
study programs of the Faculty of Philosophy, members of the newly established Student Theater Club, attended the first in a series of workshops under the common title "Theatre Practicum" held by actor, experienced drama pedagogue and director of the Bosnian National Theater Zenica, Miroljub Mijatović.
A theatre practicum is an artistic workshop designed to use directed drama games and drama exercises to help students acquire knowledge or master certain behaviors. In the first workshop, students focused on attention, concentration, and memory, as abilities that an actor needs to master before standing in front of an audience.
This type of workshop organization allows students to actively participate and to question their possibilities related to the topic in a relaxed and fun way.
The Student Theater Club of the Faculty of Philosophy, in addition to its regular activities of joint viewing and analysis of theater performances and artistic content, will in the coming period, in cooperation with the only professional theater in the Zenica-Doboj Canton, launch the first project of producing student theater projects that will be publicly shown and thus improve the teaching process, but also enrich the cultural life of Zenica.
