Management of the Faculty of Philosophy at a working meeting in the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports

Today, in the premises of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, a working meeting was held between Minister Draženka Subašić and the Director of the Pedagogical Institute, Aida Salkić, with the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, Prof. Dr. Alice Arnaut and Vice Dean for NIR Belma Polić. The meeting discussed proposals for cooperation with the Pedagogical Institute with the aim of improving the educational system in our canton.

Since the Faculty of Philosophy educates future professors of various orientations through the process of initial education, it was pointed out that through the intensification of cooperation it is possible, on the one hand, to better prepare students for the future professorship, and on the other hand, to strengthen the competencies of teachers/professors in the field.

A public lecture was proposed for final year students of all teacher studies at the Faculty of Philosophy. They also discussed holding a round table on the subject of the curriculum, the catalog of educations for teachers of various educational profiles in primary and secondary schools of ZDK, the amendment of the Rulebook on the pedagogical-methodical practice of students, and the textbook policy.
