Opening of the Language-Literature-Culture meeting
In Zenica, the VI international scientific and professional meeting "Language - literature - culture" organized by the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zenica, was opened and started its work. The opening was held at Hotel Dubrovnik.
The meeting brought together about fifty notable names from the world of science and creativity. Dr. Agata Javosek, from the Institute of Slavic Studies of the University of Poznań and a member of the Polish Academy of Sciences, spoke at the meeting on the topic of Development of Enlightenment in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Professor Damir Kukić, dean of the Faculty of Philosophy in Zenica, spoke about the "Relationship between culture and ideology", and one of the lecturers, Professor Nebojša Vasić, referred to language in the context of the purism of Slavic languages.
The talks and gathering were conducted in several sections, on literature, languages, culture and ideology. The Faculty of Philosophy in Zenica, in partnership with the German Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is organizing a two-day conference.
Cultural Attaché at the German Embassy, Susan Mathis, dedicated her address to the public to the life and work of the great German poet Heinrich Heine, one of the greatest writers in the history of world and European literature, also known to the local public as the author of the sevdaline "Kraj tanana šadrvana".
