"Thursday at 12" session of the Department of General Cultural Studies - Mario Hibert's guest lecture on "Librarianship, digital culture"

Mario Hibert is from the Department of Comparative Literature and Librarianship, Faculty of Philosophy, Sarajevo.

In his presentation, Hibert explained to the students of Cultural Studies the relationship between contemporary user expectations and information services in the context of information ethics as an area of research into issues of intellectual freedom, censorship, privacy, intellectual property and information and communication rights in general. He asserted that the insistence on critical information literacy is the way to understanding the political, economic and social phenomena of networking.

The guest of the next session is Edin Bjelošević, neuropsychiatrist and professor from the Faculty of Health.
