Visit to the University of Primorska, Koper, Slovenia

Professors and assistants from the Department of Mathematics and Informatics of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zenica recently returned from a successful visit to the University of Primorska in Koper, Slovenia, where they stayed from March 26 to 29, 2023. During this four-day stay, our representatives, prof. Ph.D. Almir Huskanović, prof. Ph.D. Hermina Alajbegović and assistant Vehid Kurtić, MA, had the opportunity to meet colleagues from Slovenia and to exchange opinions on the important topic of "SEMI-SIMPLE ALGEBRAS ASSOCIATED WITH ORIENTED GRAPHS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS", which is part of the bilateral cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia.

Our professors and assistants worked together with their colleagues from Slovenia on this project and shared the tasks that will be carried out in the coming period. They also listened to an interesting seminar held by prof. Ph.D. Petar Pavešić, professor at the University of Ljubljana. The exchange of ideas and knowledge between our representatives and colleagues from Slovenia was extremely productive and useful, which will certainly contribute to future cooperation between our two universities. The project was realized under the auspices of the Federal Ministry of Education and Science (FMON).

The Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies (FAMNIT) of the University of Primorska is very well known for its excellence in the field of science and technology, and we are extremely proud that our professors and assistants had the opportunity to meet these experts and learn from them.

After a successful visit, our representatives returned full of new knowledge and experience, and hope that this cooperation between our universities will bring even more joint projects and activities in the future. This is an extremely important step towards strengthening cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia in the field of science and technology, and our professors and assistants have proven to be excellent representatives of our university in this project.
