\u0160esta studentska konferencija povodom Dana engleskog jezika uspje\u0161no odr\u017eana na Filozofskom fakultetu<\/strong><\/p>\n

U \u010detvrtak, 23. aprila, na Filozofskom fakultetu Univerziteta u Zenici uspje\u0161no je odr\u017eana \u0161esta po redu studentska konferencija povodom Dana engleskog jezika (2026 ELD), u organizaciji Studijskog programa engleski jezik i knji\u017eevnost. Kao ve\u0107 prepoznatljiv doga\u0111aj, konferencija je i ove godine okupila u\u010desnike iz vi\u0161e zemalja i potvrdila svoj zna\u010daj kao prostor studentske inicijative, razmjene znanja i me\u0111unarodne saradnje.<\/p>\n

Konferencija je okupila 11 izlaga\u010da u\u017eivo i 7 online u\u010desnika, uklju\u010duju\u0107i studente s University of Poitiers, A.K. Kussayinov Eurasian Humanities Institute i Karaganda Buketov University, \u010dime je dodatno osna\u017een njen me\u0111unarodni karakter. Uz podr\u0161ku British Councila, program je otvoren plenarnim online predavanjem koje je odr\u017eala Cristiana Osan, nakon \u010dega su uslijedile studentske prezentacije iz razli\u010ditih oblasti engleskog jezika i knji\u017eevnosti.<\/p>\n

\u0160ef Studijskog programa, prof. Bujak, istakao je su\u0161tinu konferencije nagla\u0161avaju\u0107i njen fokus na studentske ideje, inicijativu i aktivnu ulogu studenata u organizaciji i realizaciji konferencije. Konferencija je zaklju\u010dena interaktivnom radionicom koju je vodio Jonathan Pendlebury, saradnik British Councila iz Beograda, a za najbolje izlaga\u010de British Council je obezbijedio vrijedne nagrade.<\/p>\n

Posebno nas raduje \u0161to ovaj doga\u0111aj studentima pru\u017ea priliku da u\u010destvuju u akademskim aktivnostima, razmjenjuju ideje, ostvaruju me\u0111unarodne kontakte, ali i grade zajedni\u0161tvo kroz dru\u017eenje i saradnju. Upravo ta kombinacija akademskog anga\u017emana i studentskog povezivanja \u010dini ovu konferenciju posebno vrijednom.<\/p>\n

Zahvaljujemo svim u\u010desnicima, gostima i na\u0161im vrijednim volonterima koji su doprinijeli uspje\u0161noj realizaciji doga\u0111aja. Ponosni smo na veoma pozitivne reakcije i uspjeh ovogodi\u0161nje konferencije te se radujemo njenom daljnjem razvoju i podizanju na jo\u0161 vi\u0161i nivo.<\/p>\n

Sixth Student Conference Marking English Language Day Successfully Held at the Faculty of Philosophy<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Thursday, April 23, the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Zenica successfully hosted the sixth annual student conference marking English Language Day (2026 ELD), organized by the Study Program in English Language and Literature. As a well-established event, the conference once again brought together participants from several countries, reaffirming its importance as a space for student initiative, knowledge exchange, and international cooperation.<\/p>\n

The conference gathered 11 in-person presenters and 7 online participants, including students from the University of Poitiers, A.K. Kussayinov Eurasian Humanities Institute, and Karaganda Buketov University, further strengthening its international character. With the support of the British Council, the program opened with an online plenary lecture delivered by Cristiana Osan, followed by student presentations covering various topics in English language and literature.<\/p>\n

The Head of the Study Program, Prof. Bujak, emphasized the essence of the conference by highlighting its focus on student ideas, initiative, and the active role of students in the organization and implementation of the event. The conference concluded with an interactive workshop led by Jonathan Pendlebury, British Council Consultant in Belgrade, while the British Council provided valuable prizes for the best presenters.<\/p>\n

We are especially pleased that this event offers students an opportunity to participate in academic activities, exchange ideas, establish international connections, and build a sense of community through collaboration and social interaction. It is precisely this combination of academic engagement and student networking that makes this conference particularly valuable.<\/p>\n
