<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"In order to strengthen cooperation between the educational sector and economic institutions in the field of culture and tourism, Prof. Dr. Damir Kuki\u0107 and Acting Prof. Dr. Mirza D\u017eananovi\u0107, members of the newly established study program Culture and Tourism of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zenica, visited the Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, Samir \u0160ibonji\u0107.<\/p>\n
The professors introduced the minister to the concept of the study program, its interdisciplinary structure and the vision of training personnel who will contribute to the development of the cultural and tourism sector in the canton. They also discussed previous promotional and project activities, including cooperation with the ZDK Tourist Board, led by director \u0160aban Ibri\u0161imovi\u0107, which has already proven to be an important partner in the development of practical models of teaching and student engagement.<\/p>\n
Special attention was paid to the possibilities of institutional cooperation with the Ministry of Economy, with the aim of involving young people in development processes within tourism, strengthening students' competences and creating joint projects. Minister \u0160ibonji\u0107 expressed full support for these initiatives, recalling that the Ministry and the Government of the ZDK have launched key processes for the revitalization of the tourism sector in recent years.<\/p>\n
The Minister was also informed about the successfully completed project of establishing CoolTurLAB at the Faculty of Philosophy - a modern laboratory that will serve as a teaching and project platform for students of Culture and Tourism and future programs of the Faculty. The ceremonial opening of the laboratory is expected soon, which will further improve the pedagogical and innovation capacities of the study program.<\/p>\n
After a very successful enrollment of the first generation, the Culture and Tourism study program continues with the activities of implementing a quality study for students interested in culture, tourism and the creative industries. This visit once again showed that the program is growing in the direction of strong partnerships and concrete opportunities for students and the local community.<\/p>\n
