Vehid Kurti\u0107, assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics and Informatics and doctoral student at the Faculty of Science, University of Montenegro, participated in the international workshop\u00a0"BioNetworks: Modeling, Algorithms, & Statistics"<\/strong>, held on July 7 and 8, 2025 in Cetinje, Montenegro.<\/span><\/p>\n

The workshop was organized within the framework of\u00a0COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology)<\/strong>\u00a0actions called\u00a0"Information, Coding and Biological Function - DYNALIFE (The Dynamics of Life)"<\/strong>, and brought together researchers and professors from different parts of Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vehid Kurti\u0107 presented the results of his research on the topic at this event.\u00a0"Probabilistic Matrix Factorization"<\/strong>, implemented under mentorship\u00a0Prof. Dr. Vladimir Ja\u0107imovi\u0107<\/strong>\u00a0from the Faculty of Science in Podgorica. The lecture aroused interest among the participants, especially due to the application of models in the analysis of biological data.<\/span><\/p>\n

Participation in such an event is a significant experience for young researchers, providing an opportunity to exchange ideas, network, and further develop research competencies.<\/span><\/p>\n
