As part of the Student Festival of Culture, STUFEK, the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zenica, in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut BiH, is organizing the German Film Weeks from April 22 to May 27, 2025 (at the Faculty of Philosophy, free admission).<\/div>\n

Under the title "Mapping the Homeland", six outstanding German films that premiered in 2022 and 2023 at the Berlinale and other international festivals will be shown. The films explore different aspects, perspectives and feelings associated with the concept of homeland - from loss of homeland, sense of belonging, past and present, to family, friendship, hate and love. The program includes the latest feature films by Christian Petzold and Fatih Akin, two historical dramas about dealing with the past of the GDR, as well as two socially critical youth films.<\/div>\n

This selection of films not only promises moving cinema experiences, exciting entertainment and funny moments, but also offers good opportunities for discussion and reflection.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
