The Faculty of Philosophy is the proud organizer of the Round Table "Situation and Perspectives of Teacher Study Programs", which was held at Hotel Zenica on April 23, 2024. The round table was organized as another in a series of manifestations within the Faculty of Philosophy Day and brought together for the first time in one place representatives of teaching study programs from public universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as representatives of the Agency for the Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance of BiH (HEA BiH ) and the Center for Information and Recognition of Documents in the Field of Higher Education (CIP). The key topics of the Round Table were: Challenges of educating future teachers, Getting to know the qualifications of teachers on the labor market and Teaching staff of the ZDK in primary and secondary schools.<\/div>\n
Teacher study programs, despite high-quality subject-planning and program structures and professional staff, as well as the fact that teaching professions are increasingly in short supply, face a lack of interest of graduates in profiling in this very important and responsible profession. It is necessary to restore the dignity of the teaching profession, in order to increase the interest of young people to profile their future in the direction of the teaching profession. It was agreed that it is necessary to seriously discuss this topic as soon as possible with the educational authorities at all levels throughout BiH, in order to make real progress in the education of teaching staff of various orientations, which are the basis of elementary education and education of all future generations.<\/div>\n
